TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED BETWEEN GREAT VALLEY SCHOOL BOARD AND EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

October 13^th, 2004 – Following 4 ½ hours of negotiations, the Great Valley School Board Negotiations Team and the Great Valley School District Education Association reached a tentative agreement on a 5-year contract.

“We are pleased to have reached an agreement which supported the original goals established back in January by our School Board,” stressed Jay Levin, a School Board member and part of the Negotiations Team. “It is a balanced agreement which successfully meets the needs of students, teachers and taxpayers.”

Details of the agreement won’t be released until the School Board and association vote to ratify the contract. After that time, a press release on the contract will be available at www.gvsd.org
